Katerina & Kyle

We've seen many weddings here at Right Angle Studios, weddings of all shapes and sizes and faiths, but interfaith weddings are some of our favorites.

An essential tool for the success of any relationship is, and always will be, compromise. Interfaith weddings are a testament to this tool. To take one's own core faith and values and mix them with someone else's takes a great deal of trust and guidance. Rabbi Alan Block and Monsignor Jim Lisante, together, have managed to be a great resource to couples seeking to do just that.

Katerina and Kyle tapped the interfaith duo to create a lovely ceremony with a sweet and respectful blend of both Jewish and Christian traditions. Take a look-

Jennifer & Sal

According to Popular culture, a wedding is The Bride's Day. In this instance, it most certainly was- The Groom made sure of it- in the sweetest possible ways.

Absolute elegance

Jennifer and Sal met while singing karaoke, but their wedding day was no amateur hour. Every single detail was perfectly attended to- Especially the band. It was essential that the wedding day reflected the importance of music in their lives.

Sal swept Jenn right off her feet!
Jenn's enthusiastic chants of "It's my day!!" reflected the excitement that could be felt throughout the Crescent Beach Club. The weather was beautiful, and the sky cooperated wonderfully- which made for a gorgeous photo session.

As the sun set over the beach, the guests assembled for the ceremony at dusk.

Proud Mom

I know I mentioned that the band was important, But I didn't tell you the best part about the band- They let Sal sing!
Photographer Confession: We were worried he'd be terrible- Not so! He was an amazing singer!
Jenn was serenaded with several songs before the gang kicked it up a notch and partied hard with their new singer.

Giddiness all around!

Rockin Band + Rockin Groom = Awesome Party!

The only thing sweeter than a Groom singing to his Bride? A Groom Singing to his Brides Mom!

All in all, this wedding was so many things- sweet, elegant, caring, beautiful, and FUN!

Clarice & Karri

Same sex Marriage became legal in New York on June 24, 2011.

These lovely ladies had been planning their nuptials long before the legislation was in place. But, oh, was the party ON NOW!

In all seriousness, this was one of the most heartfelt and loving events I've ever had the privilege to witness. Every person involved seemed to have just as much love for the brides as the brides had for each other. Take a peek-
Almost ready
The big reveal!

Twice as many Brides means twice as many Beautiful Portraits

We're gonna have to pause for a moment and just appreciate the gorgeousness happening right here- the retro hair, the birdcage veil, the flawless styling and makeup.... I'm gonna need a sec...

Bridal Party Badassery...

OK.. on to the Ceremony. Clarice and Karri had planned to have a non-legal ceremony before the laws were passed, and their lovely mothers were to officiate the commitment. There was no dilemma once it became a legal affair- Both Mammas got ordained for the occasion!  Both Brides were escorted down the aisle by their respective proud fathers. The ladies also wrote their own vows to each other-They were so sincere and sweet that there was hardly a dry eye in the house. It was really an intimate and beautiful ceremony.

Marguerita & Leon

Let's talk about details, and cake, and sass. But mostly details.

Margeurita and Leon's wedding day was full of book themed goodness. Theme? you say. Yep, a theme done right. As great lovers of the written word, the bride and groom included books and words all over their wedding celebration. Their invitation was a tiny booklet, and each page included all the important bits of information about the ceremony, reception, and guest accommodations.

Even the Save the Date got in on some library action!

I did mention the sass, yes?

Caritas is Latin for 'Love for all'
Marguerita and Leon were married in a gorgeous cavern of a church in Queens, NY. It really felt like a rich, hallowed space in which to exchange vows.

"Women are meant to be loved, not to be understood" --Oscar Wilde
Remember those details I mentioned? This place was oozing with sweet, sweet words. There was ivy, books, and card catalogues, oh my! Love and Marriage related quotes were posted all around the reception venue, in tiny frames, and on each table (in place of table numbers.)

AND CAKE!! That stack of books is a cake! And a delicious one, at that.

Bridal Party Sass!

There was so much warmth and personality at this wedding; The families and friends all came together to celebrate in a big way!
